His research focuses on the development of novel approaches targeting key challenges and opportunities for sustainable land use and landscape change (e.g. sustainable intensification, landscape conservation and climate change adaptation). He has participated as a team member in more than 20 research projects and at regional, national and EU levels, and is currently involved in the SUFISA H2020.
