On 31st January, several researchers and technicians from the University of Évora (Portugal) and the University Complutense of Madrid (Spain) carried out, again, experimental field works in olive grove plots in the Alentejo region of Portugal. Periodically, according to a defined protocol, the sediments accumulated in the structures installed in these olive groves are quantified in order to estimate erosion and soil loss in the different types of olive grove management, which may or may not have vegetation cover.
