Roberto García has made a presentation of the SUSTAINOLIVE project and a talk about the situation of the olive grove in Andalusia at the Cooperativa Oleícola de Kalamata, with great assistance from farmers and technicians in the area. Then we had the opportunity to taste the olive oils of the region and a sample of Jaén oils, specifically from the region of La Loma (Jaén). The oils of Kalamata have been tasted, as well as those produced by the Cooperativa San Vicente de Mogón and the Spiritu Santo brand, in Úbeda. Attendees have praised the quality of the oils and the beauty of the designs of the company Cabello y Mure that illustrate the labels. An unforgettable night with an interesting debate where it is necessary to point out the need to combine experiences and knowledge between Mediterranean countries to overcome the difficulties facing the olive sector. We appreciate the hospitality of our hosts, and the interest in joining efforts to improve the quality of our products and the sustainability of the olive grove in the Mediterranean.
