The main objective of this work package is to provide a synopsis and characterization of the diversity of conditions under which olive groves grow and olive oil is produced. A summary of olive cultivation, including conceptual approaches, methods and innovative identification. The goal is to address information on the spatial and socioeconomic structure of the olive grove, the key landscape characteristics, the local pedoclimatic conditions and the socio-economic and technological contexts.
